Headline speakers

9-11 May
Virtual

We had a fantastic line-up of headline speakers at UHR23.

Rene Carayol
The list of those with whom Rene Carayol has worked is an extraordinary one, encompassing world leaders such as Bill Clinton, major entities including the World Bank and BP, and private sector leaders such as Sir Richard Branson. Rene will join us to help us think about the power of culture in leadership in what is guaranteed to be an inspiring and empowering session.

Veronica Hope Hailey
Professor Veronica Hope Hailey is no stranger to the UHR audience. Newly in post as the Dean of the University of Bristol Business School, Veronica's key research has been around trust in business contexts, and at UHR23 she'll update us on her thinking into the ways in which trustworthiness feeds into the effectiveness and success of responsible organisations.

Thimon de Jong
Thimon de Jong joins us at UHR23 for a hugely thought-provoking look at future trends and the ways these will shape our future working lives. What strategic take-aways can we gain from an international and future-facing perspective? How do we sync our business strategies with huge societal changes?

Megan Reitz
Megan Reitz is a leading thinker and writer on a wide range of vital issues to the HR community, including leadership styles and the encouragement of meaningful dialogue within organisations, furthering individuals capacity to speak up and trust that their vital point will be heard, and mindful leadership.

Vivienne Stern MBE
Vivienne Stern is the Chief Executive of UniversitiesUK and a figure well-known to UHR members. Where in her view does UK Higher Education find itself in the mid years of the 2020s? Influential on behalf of the UK with enormous teaching and research strength and a huge 'soft power' player, or beset by problems from funding to pay to retention and recruitment?
